{"id":18645,"date":"2026-01-12T12:59:56","date_gmt":"2026-01-12T12:59:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iscal.be\/?p=18645"},"modified":"2026-01-12T12:59:57","modified_gmt":"2026-01-12T12:59:57","slug":"a-new-chapter-at-iscal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iscal.be\/en\/a-new-chapter-at-iscal\/","title":{"rendered":"A new chapter at iscal"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On 1 January 2026, Steven De Cuyper officially took up his position as the new CEO of iscal, thus opening a new chapter in the history of our sugar factory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Solid experience in the food industry<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>An agricultural engineer by training, Steven De Cuyper has extensive experience in the agri-food sector. He has held senior positions at Agristo NV, a major player in the food industry, where he developed recognised expertise in industrial performance, team management and sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alongside his professional career, Steven is heavily involved in the structuring and future of the Belgian agricultural and food sector, currently serving as chairman of Vegaplan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A clearly stated ambition<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For three months, Steven took the time to learn about iscal&#8217;s teams, business lines, strengths and challenges. This phase of listening and analysis ensured a smooth and seamless transition, with ongoing projects continuing without interruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His ambition is clear: to make our sugar factory a European model for sustainable transition in the agri-food industry, drawing on our high-performance industrial facilities, our strong local roots and the daily commitment of our employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Thank you Robert !<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This is also an opportunity to warmly thank Robert for his four years of leadership. His commitment, vision and support have marked an important milestone in iscal&#8217;s development and laid a solid foundation for the future.<br><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" id=\"mce_1_start\"
