The end of the 2025 campaign sets new records

Our 2025 sugar campaign came to an end on Friday, January 16, after 127 days of production! This has been a record year for our sugar factory, both in terms of volumes processed and production performance.

Numbers that make your head spin

Over the course of the campaign, more than 1,300,000 tons of sugar beets were processed, with a daily average of over 10,800 tons (11,600 tons including tare weight), the best performance recorded over the last eight campaigns.

Sugar production also stood out, with more than 130,000 tons produced, for an average of over 1,000 tons per day. On several occasions, production even exceeded 1,200 tons, confirming the high level of performance achieved this year.

Robust installations

This campaign also highlighted the robustness of several key areas of the mill. The washing, evaporation, and pulp press areas demonstrated remarkable reliability. It is worth noting that all nine pulp presses finished the campaign in perfect condition, without causing any slowdowns.

Energy: significant progress

In terms of energy, the results are equally encouraging. We consumed 5% less energy per ton of beets compared to 2024, and nearly 10% less than in previous years. This is the lowest consumption in the last eight campaigns!

A commitment and investments that pay off

These excellent results reflect the commitment, professionalism, and solidarity of all workers throughout the value chain. From the farmers who sowed the seeds in March to the sugar packaging staff, the contractors responsible for harvesting, and the transporters delivering the beets, a total of nearly 5,000 people have been working to the rhythm of the beet and sugar harvest over the past few months. Thank you all for making the 2025 campaign a collective success!

On to the mini-campaign

Since last year, we have been taking advantage of our 80,000-ton silo to change the way we operate. We now move straight on to the mini-campaign, during which we pump the syrup stored in our tanks to produce around 100,000 tons of sugar. This mini-campaign will end around the beginning of April.
