Second edition of our QHSE Day: building a shared culture

Over the past two years, our safety day has evolved into a broader QHSE day. The focus is no longer solely on safety, but also on quality, hygiene and the environment. For this occasion, operations at our site are deliberately paused to allow all employees to take part.

The starting point of a different kind of day

What better way to begin than by sharing a moment together? The second edition of the QHSE Day started with a convivial breakfast, setting the tone for a day unlike any other. This was followed by a 30‑minute plenary session to outline the objectives and revisit the key pillars of the QHSE culture at iscal.

Workshops rooted in everyday reality

From 8:30 onwards, the different groups rotated through a series of workshops, each addressing topics closely linked to daily operations.

Cybersecurity, waste management, workplace hygiene and cleaning, traffic on site, quality and safety history, and psychosocial risks… each workshop was designed to encourage reflection, exchange and the comparison of practices.

The event is also an opportunity to showcase new tools, such as the Evoluno platform, which focuses on mental wellbeing.

These sessions enabled the sharing of best practices, reinforcement of key principles, and open dialogue on sometimes sensitive or complex topics. Topics that resonate both professionally and personally.

A collective moment at the heart of the day

At midday, a barbecue brought all employees together, providing an opportunity to mix teams and hierarchical levels, and to continue discussions in a more informal setting. This moment helped strengthen connections between colleagues, beyond roles and departments.

Building a shared QHSE culture

Beyond the content itself, the day reflects a clear ambition: to further develop and embed a shared QHSE culture within the company.

This is a culture that goes beyond rules and procedures, relying on the involvement of everyone, every day, on the ground.

By taking the time to pause, reflect together and share experiences, iscal continues to build a working environment where safety, quality, hygiene and environmental respect are concrete priorities.
